AHHA’s quality café series includes a 20-30 minute learning session followed by Q&A. The café is open to any interested staff (quality staff, regular staff working on a quality project team, etc.) with a goal to foster networking and shared learning among quality professionals in Alaska.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will update hospital overall quality star ratings on July 31, 2024. This Quality Café session will focus on understanding your facility’s overall star rating. We will review both hospital and LTC star rating methodologies. If you have a specific question you would like addressed during the Café please email Cristan at cmclain@alaskahha.org.
